Privacy Policy

Summary

TapTot is an app for young children. It does not collect, store on any server, sell or share any personal data – not from children and not from parents. It has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no third-party code (SDKs) and makes no network connections.

What stays on the device

• Settings and PIN. Your settings are saved in the app's local preferences. The parent PIN is stored only as a salted hash in the device Keychain.
• Gallery photos, names and voice recordings. Photos you choose with the system photo picker are copied into the app's private storage, together with the names you type and any voice recordings you make. They are never uploaded. As with any app data, they may be included in your device's own iCloud or computer backup, which Apple and you control.
• Drawings and emoji text exist only while the app is open and are not saved.

Deleting a photo in the parent area, or deleting the app, removes this data permanently.

Permissions

• Photos: TapTot uses the system photo picker, so it never gets access to your photo library – only to the photos you pick.
• Microphone: requested only if a parent chooses to record a voice caption for a photo. Recording happens only while the parent holds the record button.
• Motion sensors: used only to roll the balls when the device is tilted; the data is not stored.
• Face ID / Touch ID / passcode: used only if you forget the PIN, to prove you are the device owner. TapTot never sees your biometric data.

Purchases

The optional full version is sold by Apple through the App Store. Payment is handled entirely by Apple; we receive no payment or personal details. Purchases can only be started from the PIN-protected parent area.

Children's privacy

TapTot is designed for the App Store Kids category and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by not collecting any personal information at all. There are no external links, social features or ads in the child area.

This website

This website uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. All files, including fonts, are served from this domain, so your browser makes no requests to third parties.

Adatvédelmi tájékoztató (magyar)

A TapTot kisgyermekeknek készült alkalmazás. Semmilyen személyes adatot nem gyűjt, nem továbbít és nem értékesít – sem a gyerekektől, sem a szülőktől. Nincs fiók, analitika, reklám, külső SDK, és az app nem kapcsolódik az internethez.

A beállítások a készüléken helyben tárolódnak, a szülői PIN-kód csak sózott hash formájában a Kulcskarikában. A szülő által kiválasztott fotók, a hozzájuk írt nevek és a hangfelvételek kizárólag az app saját tárhelyén vannak, sosem kerülnek feltöltésre (a készülék saját iCloud- vagy számítógépes biztonsági mentésébe bekerülhetnek). A rajzok és az emoji-szöveg nem mentődnek. Egy fotó törlése vagy az app törlése véglegesen eltávolítja az adatokat.

Engedélyek: a fotókat a rendszer képválasztója adja át, így az app nem fér hozzá a fotótárhoz. A mikrofont csak akkor kéri, ha a szülő hangfelvételt készít. A mozgásérzékelőt csak a golyók gurításához használja. Az arc- vagy ujjlenyomat- azonosítás csak elfelejtett PIN esetén kell, az app biometrikus adatot nem lát.

A teljes verziót az Apple értékesíti az App Store-ban, a fizetést teljes egészében az Apple kezeli. Vásárlás csak a PIN-kóddal védett szülői menüből indítható. A weboldal nem használ sütiket és követőkódot. Kapcsolat: Hipszki János – support@taptot.app.
